April Hall-Gill - Certified Placenta Specialist, NCS, & PPD
Founder of
Carolina Placenta Remedies LLC &
Nurtured Nights LLC.
I am the mother of five beautiful daughters and the grandmother of two amazing girls. I worked as a CPHT (Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician) for seven years with Eckerd Drugs and five years as a chemotherapy technician at the GHS Cancer Treatment Center.
I have always been fascinated by pregnancy and childbirth, and knew I would one day choose a career in birth work. At the time, I didn’t know exactly what that would look like or what path of birth work I would follow.
My pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey led me to discover Placentophagy and its unique natural healing benefits. I began my studies in Placenta Encapsulation and Placenta Remedies in 2015. I trained with IPPA in 2016 as a Professional Placenta Specialist. In 2017, I began my studies in Placenta Remedies and Placenta Stem Cell Consulting with Brilliant Birth Academy. I completed training and was certified as a Placenta Specialist and Consultant in 2018.
I believe many families are not receiving adequate support during their postpartum period or the months thereafter, which is needed to ensure positive healing and transition into parenthood.
This led me to further my training as a Maternal Support Practitioner with Bebo Mia Inc,
Family Postpartum Planner with Seven Sisters for Seven Days and Holistic Newborn Care Specialist with Gentle Ventures
Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula with Newborn Training Academy

Christine Sebold - Certified LPN, NCS
With over 33 years of medical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse and NCS-certified caregiver, I deeply understand clinical care and compassionate support. My career began on an oncology unit and evolved into caring for patients with end-stage renal disease on dialysis. Throughout my journey, one constant has remained: my commitment to providing comfort, care, and support to those who need it most.
As a mother of four, including a set of twins, I understand firsthand the physical and emotional challenges that come with welcoming a new baby. With children close in age, I spent many years with a baby in my arms and became well-versed in newborn care, especially colic and reflux, which all of my children experienced in their early months.
Despite a strong daytime support system, the nights were often long and isolating. Returning to work soon after giving birth, I felt the heavy toll that sleep deprivation can take on a new mother’s body and mind. That experience shaped my passion for supporting postpartum mothers in a profound way.
I believe every new parent deserves time to heal, rest, and adjust. It would be my honor to care for your newborn, giving you the space to recover and recharge, so you can embrace this beautiful new chapter, feeling your best.
